Day Sixteen: Christmas Cookies

The smell of freshly baked cookies wafted from the kitchen where the boys had been for the past two hours. Video games were great and all, but taking a break to make some treats was pretty good too. Tim was removing the cookies from the oven, Jon putting the ingredients back where they belong and Emile was mixing the batter for the cupcakes. "Hey, don't mix it so fast." Jon called to Emile. "Why?" "Because, it might-" all of a sudden the electric mixer gave a violent jerk. A glop of batter hit Jon right in the face, coating his glasses in the gooey substance. "Splat" Jon finished coolly. "Oh..." "Emile you might wanna start running." Tim advised.
